Dookudu is not a mass action movie

Well, as the release day approaches, more and more interesting things are being revealed about Dookudu film starring Mahesh Babu. Right from the title to the first look stills and trailers, Dookudu has given an impression of a mass-action entertainer. Of course, people would expect some comedy with Srinu Vytla being the director.
Dookudu makers are now trying to control the damage and sending message that this film is not a high octane action thriller, but an ‘emotional entertainer’. This film is laced with good humor and heart touching sentiment, with a ‘hint’ of action.
They are also telling that don’t expect a film like Pokiri with Dookudu as both the films are entirely different. It is a brand Srinu Vylta film targeted at the holiday crowds it seems. No issues in making a family entertainer with a superstar, but why did they give that ‘wrong impression’ on the film in the first case?
